Bess in from Taiwan. She came to Boston University a year after I came. We became good friends in the program. She has a sweet personality and a creative spirit. Even though she came to a whole new country all by herself, she never gave in to any difficulties. Her discipline and diligence has paid off.
I am proud to announce that she has successfully finished her degree recital and is ready to graduate this coming Saturday!
These photos are taken before her recital. Just thought I'd share them with you. ^_~
All the best to my dear friend!

«PIANO RECITAL»
I've known Wei since the first day of graduate school. I was getting my master degree and she was getting her doctorate. She is fun, energetic, fashionable and optimistic. Recently, she had asked me to make her recital posters this semester. I couldn't be more delighted to have this assignment.

«NYU RECITAL-MORE OF LINDA»
Linda is such a fun person to be around. She can always cheer you up with her witty charm and silliness no matter what kind of bad day you might be having. But on that day, nobody was having a bad day, because everyone was inspired by her lovely piano playing and immersed in the beauty of the music.

Beautiful:

Good food and good company:

Gorgeous, princess-like recital dress that Linda specifically ordered from Japan:

And finally, the boyfriend, aka soon-to-be-fiance, aka soon-to-be-married!
Awww, how cute they are!

«NYU RECITAL-INTRO»
My dear friend Linda Suzuki gave her fabulous Master's recital at NYU on May 9th. A couple of us from Boston drove 8 hours for this 2 hour event. It was all worth it! Seeing her grow and mature as a person and as a pianist is truly rewarding. It's like a mirror reflection of myself as I see Linda and I go from college roommates to now Master degree graduates. We share our hardships and joys along the way. What amazing two years we have had.

«CHURCH RECITAL-MORE OF BESS AND THE DETAILS»
I'll be out tomorrow... heading down to NYC to attend my friend Linda's NYU Master's graduation recital. So here is my entry for tomorrow. I love all these details in that gorgeous church Bess played in. I promise that this will be the last entry on this subject. Hehe ^_~ Good night!
