Rebekah Alexander is having yet another exciting recital planned out for this month.
I have the privilege of helping her come up with the ad materials. She is such a talented young artist. If you are in the Boston area, please go support her!

«POSTER DESIGN | MUSIC RECITAL»

Rebecca Alexander is having a vocal recital next month at the Boston University College of Fine Arts Concert Hall! This recital features song cycles and short pieces from the Romantic period to the Contemporary period. As Alexander puts it, these songs "explore proximity and distance through a lover's eyes". It's going to be a very interesting and refreshing treat for the listeners' ears. If you're in the Boston area, please go be a part of this wonderfully unique experience.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with to her to create the ad materials. Below is the final product!

Rebekah Alexander is having yet another recital, this time the songs she's presenting are featuring only French composers with the collaboration of Molly Wood on piano as well as her own brother Joel Alexander on percussion. It's going to be a very exciting and satisfying recital I'm sure. So if you're in town, please come participate in this unique opportunity for a taste of Paris.

We were working on the promo materials earlier this month, and this is what we came up with as the final product!

«BENEFIT CONCERT FOR THE CHILDREN OF NEPAL»

The time has come for another benefit concert by Rebekah Alexander. The last one she did was a year ago titled Variation on a Woman's Life, for cancer research. This time, she's on a mission to raise money for the orphans in Kathmandu, Nepal through an organization called Hope for Nepal.

Last week, I had the privilege of being asked to design the advertisement materials for her again.
And I am happy to announce that the final products have been born.

Here is the poster:

Here are variations for the postcard designs. I personally like the first and forth version, but Becki preferred the third one. So third one it is going to be sent for printing!

«BESS IN RECITAL»

Bess in from Taiwan. She came to Boston University a year after I came. We became good friends in the program. She has a sweet personality and a creative spirit. Even though she came to a whole new country all by herself, she never gave in to any difficulties. Her discipline and diligence has paid off.
I am proud to announce that she has successfully finished her degree recital and is ready to graduate this coming Saturday!

These photos are taken before her recital. Just thought I'd share them with you. ^_~

All the best to my dear friend!

«BROOKE'S RECITAL»

By request, I made my dear friend Brooke posters for her recital. The pictures are provided by her husband Ben taken from one of the Longy's practice rooms where Brooke rehearses tirelessly day in and day out.

Brooke really like this one a lot.

«LOVELY BROOKE IN CONCERT»

My friend Brooke just gave a end-of-the-semester recital at Longy this Monday. She and two other violists played beautifully. I am so proud of her.
