The Boston Marathon 2009 took place yesterday from East Main Street, Hopkinton to Boylston St., Boston. I woke up early, took the bus to Beacon Street in Brookline where the marathoners would pass by.
This Part I consists of mainly the wheelchair marathoners. It was very inspiring to watch them compete because they're so full of live despite of their various disabilities. They are not compromised by life, ever! Many applause to all of these heroes that we don't see everyday.
I put these pictures in chronological order. After the Boston Police led the way of the race, the first wheelchair marathoner passed by way ahead of everyone else. We cheered for him excitedly, and then the whole gang caught on, and one by one they put out their best effort to race to the finish line.
After the men's wheelchair, comes the first women's wheelchair while other men's wheelchair are still catching up, notice the Boston police showed up again in the picture above.
More to come, stay tuned!
